Information-Communication and Library Center




Information-Communication and Library Center of Lankaran State University is one of the main structural units of the University. It is a social institute that provides teaching, research and training process with information and communication means; promotes knowledge, science, culture in new ways; collects and protects printed materials and electronic resources; organizes their systematic public use; serves the development of the intellectual and spiritual potential of society.

During the activity of the University, the Center has functioned as “Computer Center”, “Information Technology Center”, “Center for Information and Communication Technologies” and “Scientific Library”. According to the decision of the Academic Council of the University dated June 08, 2016 it was reorganized as "Information-communication and library center".

Director of Information-Communication and Library Center- senior lecturer Anvar Shahgubadbeyli


He was born on November 19, 1961 in Bilasuvar district.

In 1990, he graduated from Saratov State University named after N. G. Chernyshevsky (Russian Federation) majoring in applied mathematics. In 1990/1993, according to the state appointment, he worked as an engineer-programmer in the "Znamya Truda" scientific-production unit of the Ministry of Defense of the USSR. In 1993, he worked as an Informatics teacher at the Lankaran State University and the Lankaran branch of the Republican Teacher Training Institute. Since 1994, he has worked at Lankaran State University in various positions.

Currently, he is the director of LSU Information-Communication and Library Center, head teacher of the Department of Mathematics and Informatics.

Dissertation topic: Application of New Information Systems to the solution of integral and differential equations (in the example of materials of higher mathematics).

Head of the Electronic University project,

head teacher Mayis Eyniyev.

He was born on April 29, 1975 in Lankaran district.

In 1997, he graduated from Lankaran State University with the specialization of Mathematician and mathematics teacher. He started his career as a mathematician-programmer at Lankaran State University in 1998, until 2005 he worked as the head of Educational Technologies and Information Technologies centers, and at the same time as the head teacher of the Department of Information Technologies of LSU. Since April 2005, he has worked in various responsible positions at JSC "Bank-Standard" KB.

Since October 2016, he has been working as the head of the "Electronic University" project at the Information-communication and Library center at Lankaran State University and the head teacher of the Department of Technology and technical subjects and teaches the following subjects:

- Programming languages

- Basics of programming

- Data structure and algorithms

- Theory of algorithms

- Web programming and designing

- Modern programming languages

- Data structure and database systems

The head of the library department is Elaza Ahmadova.

He was born in the city of Lankaran. Graduated from the Library and Information Faculty of Baku State University. Experienced specialist Elaza Ahmadova worked as the director of LSU Scientific Library for a long time. Currently, he works as the head of the Library department at the ICTK center. In 1999, he participated in the grant competition organized by non-governmental organizations among universities and became the winner of the "Polygraphy and publishing work" project. In different years, he was awarded with an honorary decree of the university management, in 2006, of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Head of Information Technologies department, teacher Nijat Gadirov.

He was born on December 16, 1974 in Lankaran district.

In 1997, he graduated from Lankaran State University as a mathematician and teacher of mathematics. He started working as a programmer engineer at Lankaran State University in 1998, and at the same time worked as a teacher of the Department of Information Technologies of LSU. From 2004 to April 2018, he worked in the field of application of information technologies in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Since April 2018, he has been working as the head of the Information Technologies department of the Information-communication and Library center and a teacher of the Department of Technology and technical subjects at Lankaran State University.

Engineer-programmer Javidan Babazade

He was born on January 29, 1997 in the city of Lankaran. In 2014, he graduated from Lankaran City Secondary School No. 4. In the same year, he was admitted to the Computer Science major of Lankaran State University. He served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2018/2019. After his discharge from the army, he was accepted as a technician at Lankaran State University. Since 2021, he has been working as a software engineer at the Information-Communication and Library Center.

Engineer-programmer Vahid Hasanzade

He was born on November 8, 1999 in Lankaran district. In 2017, he graduated from Lankaran district Khanbulan village secondary school. In the same year, he was admitted to the computer engineering major of Lankaran State University. He served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2021/2022. After his discharge from the army, he was accepted as a software engineer at Lankaran State University. Since 2022, he has been working as a software engineer at the Information-Communication and Library Center.

Engineer-programmer Fuad Isayev

He was born on January 18, 2002 in the city of Astara. In 2016, he graduated from Astara City Secondary School No. 3. In the same year, he was admitted to the Information Technology major of the Baku College of Management and Technology. He graduated from college in 2019 and was admitted to Lankaran State University's Information Technology major in the same year. Since 2022, he has been working as a 0.5-time engineer-programmer in the Information-Communication and Library Center at Lankaran State University.

Specialist in working with electronic resources Gultekin Gojayeva

He was born on June 5, 1996 in the city of Lankaran. In 2013, he graduated from Lankaran city humanitarian school high school number 4. He graduated from Lankaran State University with a bachelor's degree in 2017, majoring in "Computer Science", and in 2022, a master's degree in Lankaran State University, majoring in "Methodology and methodology of teaching informatics".

He started working as an operator in the Information-Communication and Library Center of Lankaran State University in 2022. Currently, he works as an electronic resources specialist.

Electronic library specialist Muhammad Alizadeh

He was born on July 9, 1992 in the city of Lankaran.

In 2014, he graduated from the Azerbaijan Teachers' Institute, majoring in teaching Azerbaijani language and literature. He started working at Lankaran State University in 2016.

Since 2019, he has been working as an electronic library specialist.

Printing house

Substitute director, laboratory assistant Maila Huseynzade.

He was born in 1992 in Ashaghi Nuvadi settlement of Lankaran region. In 2010, he graduated from Ashagi Nuvadi settlement secondary school. In 2012, he was admitted to the "Computer Science" specialty of Lankaran State University, and in 2016, he graduated from that specialty at the bachelor's level. During his years as a student, he was active as a participant and organizer of a number of republican and international level projects and was repeatedly awarded with Honorary Decrees and certificates. He started his career as an SMM at the Medican Hospital clinic. He has been working at Lankaran State University since 2018.

The printing house of LSU has been operating under different names since 1996, and since 2001 it has been operating as an independent structural division of LSU.

Duties:

• To publish all printed products prepared for publication at LSU;

• Binding newspapers and magazines.

Activity Directions:

• Prints the bibliographic indexes, recommendation literature, invitations prepared for the events and the demand letters and control sheets of the departments related to the service to students and employees, solves all issues related to printing in the LSU;

• Periodically compiles newspapers and magazines included in LSU;

• Restores used, damaged, in need of repair, physically destroyed newspapers, magazines and books, etc.

The LSU printing house provides services to legal and natural persons in all the above-mentioned areas based on the agreements concluded with the university.
