A zonal subject Olympiad was held at Lankaran State University

A zonal subject Olympiad was held at Lankaran State University on 05.04.2025, jointly organized by Lankaran State University and Lankaran-Astara Regional Education Department, in physics, mathematics, informatics, chemistry, biology and geography. Students of grades IX-XI of secondary schools of Jalilabad, Masalli, Yardimli, Lankaran, Astara and Lerik districts participated in the Olympiad.

About 600 students who participated in the knowledge competition answered 3 open-ended questions in their chosen subjects in writing within 2 hours and 30 minutes. An award ceremony will be held for the winners of the Olympiad and they will be presented with honorary orders, diplomas and gifts from LSU. Information about the results of the knowledge competition will be provided on the official website and Facebook page of LSU.

It should be noted that zonal subject Olympiads have been traditionally held at LSU every year for the last 8 years.
