An information session was held at Lankaran State University (LSU)

An information session was held at Lankaran State University (LSU) at the initiative of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, established by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Opening the event, Associate Professor Elvin Aliyev, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation of LSU, stated that according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev dated 19 September 2018, the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal was created by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, and since April 2025 the international acceleration program “Green and Digital Silk Road” has been functioning. He noted that today’s event aims to inform students about this program.

The information session was led by Associate Professor Isa Gasimov, Head of the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal. He stated that the goal of the program is to support the development of startups offering services or products in the fields of green and digital development, to strengthen communication between participants of the regional startup ecosystem, to promote regional integration of innovative ideas, and to create investment opportunities for these projects.

It should be noted that as part of the “Startup School 3” project carried out by the “Enterprise Azerbaijan” portal, the registration of startups for the international acceleration program “Green and Digital Silk Road” will continue until June 1, 2025.

The information session, attended by LSU’s academic staff and students, was held in the form of a discussion.
