Mammadova Gunel

Gunel Mammadova graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching (No. 1) from Azerbaijan University of Languages. In 2013–2015, she completed her Master's degree in “Methodology and Methods of Primary School Teaching” at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.

In 2018, she was admitted to the doctoral program at Lankaran State University, specializing in “Comparative History and Comparative-Typological Linguistics.”

She is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations at Cappadocia University, further strengthening her expertise in global academic cooperation and international affairs.

During the 2016–2017 academic year, she worked as a tutor at Lankaran State University. Since 2017, she has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation.

In 2022, she began working as a Student and Teacher Exchange Specialist at the International Cooperation Department. Since January 2023, she has been serving as the Head of the International Cooperation Department.

She has represented the university at a number of international events and academic platforms and is the author of more than 20 scientific publications.

International Experience and Projects

Gunel Mammadova actively participates in international projects and training programs within the framework of Erasmus+ initiatives.

She participated in the International Education Week held at the University of León (Spain), where she attended training sessions on internationalization under the Erasmus+ KA171 agreement.

Within the Erasmus+ KA2 project “Establishment of the Rectors' Conference in Azerbaijan,” she attended seminars and training sessions in Brussels, Belgium, organized at the prestigious EFMD.

She also participated in trainings held in Madrid, Spain, within the ECAR Erasmus+ KA2 project, organized with the participation of the Spanish Rectors’ Conference and European partner institutions.

Furthermore, she attended trainings at Izmir Institute of Technology within the framework of the DIRNA project (“Development of Research Potential through the Network of Institutional Repositories in Azerbaijan”).
