Tofig Aliyev holds a Bachelor’s degree in History Teaching (2015–2019) from Sumgait State University and a Master’s degree in Tourism and Socio-Cultural Service (2022–2024) from Lankaran State University.

He has participated in several international academic conferences and is the author of three conference papers/abstracts and one scientific article.

In 2020, he worked as a Stamp Issuance Specialist at the Department of Science and Research of Lankaran State University. Since April 13, 2022, he has been working at the International Cooperation Department, initially as a Specialist for Student–Teacher Exchange.

From 2023, he continued his professional activity as a Specialist for General Affairs, Visa Documentation, and Student Services; in 2024, he was promoted to Leading Specialist and since 2025, he has been serving as Chief Specialist in the same field.

In 2024, he participated as a member of the administrative staff team in a one-week international training organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme at Adıyaman University.
