LSU Sustainability
First of all, I would like to say that Lankaran is one of the oldest and largest cities of the southern region of Azerbaijan. Lankaran State University is the only one and the largest educational and cultural center of the southern region. Lankaran State University is a young university. Nevertheless however, by following our "Sustainable Development Strategy", we are gaining new successes year after year. Our education is based on the educational system of leading European universities. Our goal is to increase the quality of education, to form and strengthen the intellectual, cultural, social and scientific-technical potential, at the same time to ensure the competition of students in the fight for money and prestige, rapidly develop the employment opportunities. We implement a number of educational projects, information services and with many schools pilot projects in the southern region.
We are able to provide public services to both our students and all our employees, we provide them with cultural and leisure. We organize theaters, concerts, picnics and other events.
We conduct scientific and international conferences on various topics, science-related training and seminars, and conduct joint publications with a number of cooperating universities and conduct research in various fields.
As a university, we try to contribute to the improvement of economic, ecological, social and cultural issues of our country.
We participate in scientific research on solving the problems of temperature change caused by carbon dioxide, environmental protection, climate change caused by humans, reducing greenhouse gases, reducing carbon emissions, creating conditions for reducing carbon dioxide, and creating a positive future. We create relationships with relevant organizations, and organize trainings, including, we ensure the participation of professors and teaching staff and students in world-scale trainings on such them.
We try to keep processes under healthy control. We prepare relevant policy documents for the positive solution of all mentioned issues and do the necessary work. Including our anti-bribery policy is undeniable. We also have an investment policy. Together with the members of our public council, we regularly discuss the issues implemented in the university and report to the public both educational and financial issues.
Our research centers, agrarian experience center, tourism experience center, greenhouses, tea fields, citrus-fruit fields, laboratories, scientific library, service apartments for professors and teaching staff, dormitory for our male students, dormitory for our female students, "Seaside" hotel of university, our four educational buildings serve the sustainability and development of Lankaran State University.
We also have working groups that monitor the continuous development of Lankaran State University.
We hope that we will further develop our sustainability and become a useful university for both our country and the world.
