The Faculty of Philology and Primary Education

The faculty of "Philology and Primary Education" of Lankaran State University was established on the basis of the "Humanitarian" faculty by order No. 4/39 dated July 03, 2020. The head of the faculty is Ph.D. in Philology, Associate Professor Elman Mirzayev.Savad oghlu.

There are 3 departments at the faculty:

3. Primary education and pre-school education

Dean of the Faculty: Mirzayev Elman Savad oghlu

Elman Savad oglu Mirzayev

Mirzayev Elman Savad oghlu was born on March 28, 1979 in the village of Meshakanari of Masalli region. He finished Meshakanari Village General Secondary School (1994) and Taza Alvadi Village Comprehensive Secondary School No. 1 (1996). In 1996-2000, he studied at the Faculty of Philology of Lankaran State University. In 2000-2007, he was a full-time graduate and postgraduate student of the university. In 2008, he defended his candidate thesis at the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS. In 2009-2016, he worked as a head of department at the Jalilabad branch of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and as an associate professor at Tafakkur University. Since 2016, he has been continuing his scientific-pedagogical activity at Lankaran State University. In 2017-2018, he was the chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the university. Since November 2021, he is the dean of the faculty of "Philology and primary education". He is the author of 2 monographs, several subject programs and textbooks, more than 40 scientific articles and theses published in local and foreign (Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan) scientific journals.

Deputy of Dean: Aghayeva Zulfiyya Khanoglan gızı

Aghayeva Zulfiyya Khanoglan was born on February 8, 1964 in Lerik district. In 1980, she finished Lerik District Secondary School, and in 1986, she graduated from the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical Institute named after M.F. Akhundov (now Baku Slavic University) specializing in "Russian language and literature". Since 1994, she has been working at the department of "Foreign Languages" in Lankaran State University. She actively participated in many scientific conferences, trainings and symposia. She is the author of 16 scientific articles and theses, 1 subject program. At present, she is a head teacher of the "Foreign languages and translation" department, and the deputy of dean on teaching studies at the faculty of "Philology and primary education". Deputy of Dean: Aghayev Muqaddin Imanverdi oghlu

Agayev Muqaddin Imanverdi oghlu was born on January 16, 1962 in the settlement of Garmatuk of Lankaran District. In 1979, he finished Garmatuk Secondary School, and in 1988, he graduated from the Institute of Russian Language and Literature named after M.F. Akhundov with honor diploma. In 1988/1994, he worked as a teacher at Vel and Garmatuk schools of Lankaran. He has been working at Lankaran State University since 2018. He teaches the subject "Foreign language (Russian)". In 2019, he was admitted to the "Slavic languages" specialty of the doctoral department of Lankaran State University. He is the author of 12 scientific articles.

Bagirzada Nigar Sakhavat gızı

She was born on February 22, 1995 in the city of Lankaran.

In 2012, she finished Lankaran Secondary School No. 7 named after A. Maharramov. In 2012-2014, she studied at Sumgayit State Technical College, specializing in "Accounting". In 2015, she was admitted to Lankaran State University on the specialty "Mathematics and Informatics Teaching" and in 2020 graduated from the University. In 2020-2022, she got a master's degree in "Information systems in management" at Odlar Yurdu University. Since September 2022, she has been working as an "Operator-clerk" at the faculty of "Philology and Primary Education".
