Mikayil Maharramov graduated from Azerbaijan Polytechnic Institute (now Azerbaijan Technical University) in 1974 in “Food Engineering” (Canning Technology). In 1969/1974 he worked as an engineer-technologist and designer at the repair and mechanics plant of “Azerkendtexnika” PA, in 1974/1981 as an engineer, head of department, chief engineer and director in the design-constructor organizations of the agro-industrial system. M. Maharramov held a number of responsible positions in the agricultural sector in 1981-1990.

In 1990 he defended his dissertation on technical sciences; in 1996 he was awarded the title of associate professor.

Since 2017, Mikayil Maharramov works as an advisor to the rector of Lankaran State University, as well as a professor at the Department of Technology and Technical Subjects. He is a highly qualified specialist on educational issues, processing and storage of agricultural products, their properties and theoretical problems of technology. In addition, Maharramov has been a member of the Scientific and Technical Council of the former USSR State Agro-Industrial Committee and the "Economy" unit of the Scientific-Methodical Council of the Ministry of Education, deputy chairman of the "Food and Light Industry Department". Mikayil Maharramov is the author of more than 150 scientific articles that published in prestigious scientific and technical journals of the republic and abroad, 5 monographs (3 of them have been published abroad) and 2 textbooks.

Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Imanov Telman Iman oglu

Was born in 1961 in the village of Askerabad, Bilasuvar. In 1977, he entered the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy named after D. Bunyatzade, and in 1982, he graduated with honors. In 1982-1995, he worked on various positions at the former State Committee for Material-Technical Provision. In 1995, he defended his dissertation at the specialized academic council of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and got a degree of candidate of economic sciences. (HAC of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 27.12.1995, P.55).

In 1995-2000, he has been working as a senior lecturer at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 2002-2005, he was a head of the Department of Logistics, created for the first time in the country. He is the author of the methodological guide "Fundamentals of Marketing", published in 2003, and the two-volume textbook "Logistics", published in 2005. In 2008, his monograph "The Means of Production of Market: Problems and Prospects" was published. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 02.04.2004 (Ap.11), he was awarded with the title of Associate Professor. In 2016, he successfully defended his doctoral dissertation and by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22.01.2016 (Ap.02) he was awarded with the title of Doctor of Economics.

From 2005 to 2018, he was a head of the Department “Marketing” at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. He taught the disciplines "Marketing", "Logistics", "Market Infrastructure", " Management of resources in the supply Chain", etc. His monograph "Infrastructural Provision of the Product Market in the conditions of Innovative Economy: Structural and Analytical Aspects of Inclusive Development" was published in 2018.

Besides, that he is the author of about 100 scientific articles and about 30 thematic programs, he also translated about 40 foreign publications into Azerbaijani in the field of marketing.

He is married and has two children.
