Faculty of Natural Sciences

The faculty of "Natural sciences" is one of the largest faculties of Lankaran State University. The faculty has been created since 1992. At different times, the faculty has trained a wide range of specialists. There are three departments at the faculty - "Mathematics and Informatics", "Chemistry and Physics", "Biology and Ecology". The faculty conducts research in the directions of mathematics, chemistry, biology and ecology with fundamental and regional significance. Bachelors study in the specialties "Mathematics and Informatics teaching", "Chemistry and Biology teaching", "Mathematics teaching", "Physics teaching", "Technology teaching", "Ecology". Masters study in the specialties "Methods and Methodology of Teaching Mathematics", " Methods and methodology of computer science teaching”, “Methods and methodology of biology teaching”, “Methods and methodology of chemistry teaching”, “Methods of protection and restoration of the environment”. In doctoral studies, training of specialists on the specialties "Differential Equations" (in the direction of mathematics), "Computer Science", "Analytical Chemistry", "Organic Chemistry", "Ecology" and "Geoecology". Dean of the faculty - Candidate of biological sciences, Assos. Prof. Shammadov Ramiz Zeynulla

He was born on May 9, 1968 in the Arab village of Masally. In 1993 he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Biology of the Baku State University. In 2004 he defended his dissertation at the Institute of Genetics and Breeding of ANAS (now the Institute of Genetic Resources) and received a Candidate in Biology. Since 2010, he has been an associate professor in the specialty "Genetics".

From 2010 to 2016 he was Vice-Rector for Research at Lankaran State University.

From 2013 to 2016 he was acting head of the Department of Economic Informatics and Ecology, LSU.

From September 9, 2016, he was acting dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of LSU.

Since February 9, 2017, he is Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences. He is the author of 73 scientific work.

He is the author of 1 monograph, 1 textbook, 10 programs. Currently, he continues his education under the program of Doctor of Science at the Institute of Genetic Resources of ANAS.

Deputy Dean: Muradov Mammad Farrukh oghlu

Muradov Mammad Farrukh oglu - doctor of philosophy in mathematics, associate professor.

He was born in 1968 in Siyaku village of Astara district. In 1985-1992, he graduated from the "Mathematics-informatics teaching" specialty of ADPU. Since 1993, he has been a doctoral student of the Department of "Functional Analysis" of the "Mathematics and Mechanics" Institute of ANAS. In 2007, he received the title of candidate of physical-mathematical sciences, majoring in "Mathematical analysis".

Currently, he is a doctoral student of BSU's Doctor of Sciences program.

He is the author of 2 textbook, 2 subject program, nearly 20 scientific articles.

Deputy Dean: Niftullayeva Shabina Agadin

She was born on September 14, 1990 in Lankaran. In 2011 she graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. In 2013, she graduated from the Master's program in the specialty "Differential Equations" of the Sumgait State University. In 2014, he entered to Lankaran State University on the doctoral program in the specialty "Differential Equations", graduated in 2018 under the PhD program.

From 2013 to 2014 she worked as a "Senior Laboratory Assistant" at the Department of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics of Lankaran State University.

From 2014 to 2015 "Junior Researcher" at the Scientific-Research Laboratory "Problems of Mathematical Economic Analysis and Economic Development" of Lankaran State University.

From February 25, 2015 to June 8, 2016, she worked as "Director of the Clerical Work" of Lankaran State University.

From June 8, 2016 to March 6, 2017, she worked as a “specialist for clerical work” at the department of “Human Resources and Clerical Work” of Lankaran State University.

Since March 6, 2017, she is Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Lankaran State University.

Samadzade Bahar Sadagat gizi

He was born on March 8, 1998 in the village of Kargelan, Lankaran district. In 2015, he graduated from the Kergelan village secondary school named after Habib Safarov, Lankaran region, and in the same year, he was admitted to the "Mathematics and Informatics Teaching" specialty of Lankaran State University. In 2020, he graduated with a bachelor's degree in that specialty. In 2020-2022, he completed his master's studies with honors at Lankaran State University, majoring in "Methodology and Methodology of Teaching Mathematics". In March 2022, he works as a laboratory assistant at Lankaran State University, and from September 2022, he works as an operator-clerk at Lankaran State University "Nature" faculty. He is the author of 2 theses.
