"History and its teaching methodology" department
The department of "History and its teaching methodology" was established by order No. 1/83 of Lankaran State University dated August 24, 2016 in order to provide specialist training in relevant specialties. Department "History and its Teaching Methodology" 050117 - Teaching History and Geography, 050116 - Teaching History, 050310 - Bachelor of Arts in Museum, Archive Work and Preservation of Monuments, 060111 - Methodology and Methodology of Teaching History and 060301 - Master of Arts in Museum Studies, "Homeland "History" and "General history" doctoral studies and dissertations are specialized according to the level of education. In the 2022/2023 academic year, 23 employees work in the "History and its teaching methodology" department, among them: 1 person is a doctor of science in history, professor, 1 person is a doctor of science in philosophy, professor, 8 people are a doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor, 3 people doctor of philosophy in history, head teacher, 2 people are head teachers, and 8 people are teachers.
Mahmudov Kemal Fatulla oglu. Doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor.
Mahmudov Kamal Fatulla was born in 1965. In 1994, he graduated from the Faculty of History of Baku State University, specializing in "Historian and History Teacher". In 2014, he defended his thesis on "Socio-economic processes in Azerbaijan in the second half of the 1950s" and received the scientific title of Doctor of Philosophy in history, in 2018 he received the scientific title of associate professor. Since 1998, he worked as a teacher and head teacher at the "History and Philosophy" department of Lankaran State University. In 1999-2006, he worked as a deputy dean at Lankaran State University, and since 2016, he worked at the "Humanities" department. At the same time, he served as the dean of the Faculty of Humanities from 2016, was elected to the position of dean of that faculty in 2018, and worked in this position until February 2022. Since February 2022, he has been working as the head of the Department of History and its Teaching Methodology. He conducts scientific-research work in the direction of Cultural studies at the department. He is the author of 3 subject programs, more than 30 scientific articles and theses. Mammadov Arif Mahammad oglu was born on February 25, 1961 in Kizilhajili settlement of Goranboy district. After graduating from high school, he was admitted to the Faculty of History of Baku State University, and after graduating from the university, he continued his scientific activities in the direction of archeology and defended his thesis entitled "Ganjabasar in IV-XIII centuries (historical-archaeological research)" and received the title of candidate of historical sciences. As a result of his scientific-archaeological researches He was awarded the title of doctor of historical sciences by defending his thesis entitled "Historical-archaeological research of the Goshgarchay and Incechay basin (III-XVII centuries)". Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (1989-1994), Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (1995-2004), Azerbaijan Teachers He performed pedagogical activities at the Sumgayit branch of the Institute (2004-2014). In 1973-1978, he studied at the Physics Faculty of Azerbaijan State University. In 1978-1979-1981, he was an intern-researcher at the Institute of Physics and Technology named after EA A.F. Ioffe of the USSR (Leningrad), and in 1981-84, he was a graduate student in the visual department of the same Institute. was. Ibadov Rakif Huseyn oghlu. Candidate of historical sciences, associate professor.
Ibadov Rakif Huseyn oghlu was born in 1955 in Boladi village of Lankaran region. In 1977-1982, he studied history at Azerbaijan State University. After graduating from the university, he worked as a teacher and deputy director in Narimanabad settlement and Boladi village schools of Lankaran district. Since 1994, he continued his scientific and pedagogical activities at Lankaran State University and worked as a department head, dean, scientific secretary, and vice-rector for educational affairs. In 2005, he defended his PhD thesis on historical sciences. He is the author of about 30 scientific articles, 1 textbook and 1 subject program. Currently, he is working on his doctoral thesis on "H. Aliyev and the socio-economic development of the South-East region of the Republic of Azerbaijan" (1969-2003).

Huseyin Fakhreddin Shahbaz oglu. Candidate of historical sciences, associate professor.
Huseyn Fakhreddin Shahbaz oglu was born in 1955 in Oguz district. In 1972, he entered the Persian language department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Azerbaijan State University. He graduated from that faculty in 1976. In 1977, he worked as a Farsi language teacher in Sutemurdov village secondary school of Lankaran region. He has been working at Lankaran State University since 1994. In 2006, he defended his thesis on "Iran-Azerbaijan political relations (1991-1997)". Currently, he works as an associate professor at the "History and its Teaching Methodology" department of LSU. He conducts scientific research on "The role and place of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan". He is the author of 1 textbook, 1 program and about 30 scientific articles.

Malikov Emin Nazir oglu. Doctor of philosophy in history, associate professor.
In 1996, Malikov Emin Nazir graduated from the secondary school of the village of Shaglakucha of the Lankaran region, and in the same year he entered the history major of the Lankaran State University. He graduated from the university with honors in 2000, and in the same year entered the university's master's department. In 2002, he entered the post-graduate course of the National Azerbaijan History Museum of ANAS. In 2003-2010, he worked as a scientific worker in the Museum's "Exposure of the Newest History of Azerbaijan" department. On October 30, 2013, he defended his dissertation entitled "Azerbaijan History Museum collections as a source for studying and promoting the history of the oil industry" at the "Dissertation Council" at the A.A. Bakikhanov Adma Institute of History of ANAS. By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on June 9, 2015, he was awarded the scientific degree of doctor of philosophy in history. On April 1, 2017, he entered the PhD thesis of the Institute of History named after A.A. Bakikhanov of ANAS, and was awarded a doctoral dissertation entitled "Socio-economic and cultural development of the southeastern region of the Republic of Azerbaijan (2003-2018). In 2017-2019, he carried out scientific research on the project "Study of the socio-economic development history, development principles and priorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan using fuzzy methods" approved by the ANAS Presidium. From 2018 to the present, he taught the subject of History at the preparatory faculty of Odlar Yurdu University and at Baku Engineering University. According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Education, he was given the title of "Advanced Education Worker". Since 2019, a teacher has been appointed to the "History and its teaching methodology" department. He is the author of a book and more than 25 scientific articles.

Jafarov Mayis Valimammad oglu. Doctor of philosophy in history, head teacher.
Jafarov Mayis Valimammad oglu was born on May 22, 1968 in Veladi village of Lankaran region. In 1991-1996, he studied "Russian language and literature" at the full-time department of the API named after M.F. Akhundov, and in 1993-1998, at the part-time department of the Faculty of History of BSU, he received higher education at the "Historian, history teacher" specialty. He started working in 1985. Since 01.IX.1999, he has been working as a teacher at the "History and Philosophy" department of Lankaran State University. From 2016 to September 2019, he worked as the head of the "Archeology" department, deputy director for scientific affairs at the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS. In 2016, he defended his dissertation on "Numisical findings of the South-East region of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a source for the study of the history of Azerbaijan" in order to receive the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in History. Currently, he is working on his doctoral dissertation on "Medieval mint cities as a source in the study of the history of Azerbaijan". 24 scientific articles on the problems of Azerbaijan's history were published in various scientific-theoretical journals published in the Republic and abroad.

Hashim Adil oglu Kalbiyev was born on April 18, 1957 in Shilavar village of Lankaran region. In 1968, he graduated from Shilavar village elementary school, in 1974 from Lankaran city secondary school No. 5, and in 1983 from the History faculty of Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute. He worked as a teacher and deputy director in Lankaran city schools. He has been working at Lankaran State University since February 1992. At that time, up to 30 articles were published in the press and scientific journals. He is the author of 6 books and an article related to the work of a higher school curator. Currently, he is working on the monograph "Ancient and early medieval history of the population of the South-Eastern region of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

Eldar Asad oglu Mammadov was born on July 9, 1959 in the city of Lankaran in an intellectual family. In 1976, he graduated from the Russian section of Lankaran City School No. 4. After military service, he entered the History Faculty of Azerbaijan State University, after graduating from the University, he worked as a teacher in secondary schools No. 7 and No. 4 of Lankaran city. Ismayilov Azad Gasim oglu was born in 1971 in Kholmili village of Lankaran region. In 1986, he graduated from Tütepeshta village 8-year school, and in 1988, he graduated from Kholmili village high school. Ibrahimov Aslan Mikayil oghlu was born on December 13, 1956 in Baku. In 1963-1973, he graduated from secondary school No. 5 in Lankaran city. In 1974, he was admitted to the history-society faculty of API and graduated in 1978. From 1978 to 1979, he worked as a teacher in Lankaran city school number 3 and served in the army in 1979-1980. Nasirli Vusal Ibrahim oglu was born on July 27, 1982 in the city of Lankaran. In 1999, he graduated from Lankaran city No. 1 secondary school named after M. Bagirov. In 2003, he graduated from Lankaran State University with a bachelor's degree in "History-Society" with honors, and in 2005 he graduated with honors in the "New and Latest History of Azerbaijan" master's degree. Majidova Leyla Gadir gizi was born on 08.08.1976 in Sapnekaran village of Lankaran district. In 1993, he graduated from the Shuryuk village secondary school of Lankaran region. In 1995, he was admitted to the History major of Lankaran State University, along with studying in the correspondence department, he worked as a laboratory assistant in the "General Linguistics and Foreign Languages" department on 02.X.1995, and from 25.XII.1997, "Azerbaijan and General History" "worked as a laboratory assistant at the department. From 2000 to 2002, he studied full-time at the Master's level of LSU, majoring in "New and Newest History" and graduated with honors. Ismayilzade Piraga Ayyub oglu was born in 1977 in Neftchala city in an intellectual family. In 1994, he entered the history faculty of BSU, in 1998 he graduated with a bachelor's degree, and in 2000 he graduated with a master's degree with honors. In the same year, in 1997, he entered full-time doctoral studies at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography, where he worked as a chief laboratory assistant. In 2004, he was awarded the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Historical Sciences after defending the scientific work "Economic life of Mugan in the early 19th-20th centuries". He is the author of about 70 scientific articles and four monographs. Alishov Natig Abulfat oglu was born on April 9, 1982 in Jabrayil district. He graduated from Baku State University, majoring in Archaeology. He received post-graduate studies at the Department of Archeology of Antiquity at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. In 2011, he worked as a leading researcher of the Department of Antiquarian Archeology at the Institute of Archeology and Ethnography of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. In 2022, he is the head of the research sector of the Caucasian Albanian architectural monuments and spiritual heritage of the Scientific Center for Albanian Studies at the Institute of Archeology, Ethnography and Anthropology of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Currently, he works as a 0.5 full-time associate professor at the "History and its Teaching Methodology" department of Lankaran State University.

Huseynli Namig Nabi oglu was born on March 7, 1982 in Baku. From 1988 to 1998, he studied at school No. 263 named after A.S. Khalilov, Khatai district, Baku city. He studied at the "History" faculty of Baku State University. In 2003-2005, he graduated with honors from the master's degree in ancient and medieval history of Azerbaijan. He was born on October 15, 1957 in Bala Shuryuk village of Lankaran district. In 1974, he graduated from Lankaran City High School No. 1, and in 1986, he graduated from the Faculty of Law of Azerbaijan State University, majoring in lawyer. He worked in various positions in state bodies, including the head of the department for legal and defense issues in the office of the head of the Lankaran City Executive Authority, in 1997-2022, he worked as the head of the department and chief adviser in the regional offices of the Ministry of Justice, and he is a junior judicial adviser. Malikli Nurlana Alirza gizi was born on August 10, 1992 in the city of Lankaran. In 2009, after graduating from secondary school No. 10 of Lankaran city, he was admitted to the "International Relations" specialty of the Faculty of International Economic Relations of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics. After completing his bachelor's degree in 2013, he was admitted to the master's degree in "International Relations and Diplomacy" at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Qafqaz University, and in 2015 he graduated and received his master's degree. Sadikhova Reyhane Rafail gizi was born on January 1, 1976 in Lankaran. In 1983-1993, she received her higher education at Lankaran City Secondary School No. 3 and in 1995-1999 at the Faculty of Philology of Lankaran State University. In 1999, he entered the Master's department of Lankaran State University, majoring in Azerbaijani literature, and graduated with excellent grades in 2001. Since 2001, he has been working as a language and literature teacher at Lankaran secondary school No. 1. Since 2002, he has worked as a teacher at the Darguba village secondary school, and since 2014, as the director of a mixed-type orphanage named after Osman Mirzayev. Since 2016, he has been the director of the Lankaran city Heydar Aliyev Center. Since 2019, ANAS has been a doctoral student of the Institute named after Muhammad Fuzuli. He is working on a scientific work on "Traditions of statehood in the cultural and spiritual development of the Southern region of Azerbaijan" (1969-2019).
