The Department of "Azerbaijani language, literature and their teaching methods"

The department has been operating since 1992 under the name "Language and Literature of Azerbaijan". In 1994, "Linguistics and foreign languages" and "Azerbaijani and world literature" departments were established on the basis of the department. In 1999, the "Azerbaijani and world literature" department was renamed the "Literature" department.

In 2007, the "Azerbaijani Linguistics and Turkology" and "Literature" departments were united under the name "Language and Literature". Since 2016, the department has been operating under the name "Azerbaijani language, literature and their teaching methodology", adapting it to the specialties and legal regulations it covers. According to the decision of the Scientific Council of Lankaran State University dated July 3, 2020, the department operated under the name "Azerbaijani language and literature".

Corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in different years, prof.A.Safarli, prof.S.Asadullayev, Prof.N.Nazim, Prof.Y. Aghazade, Assoc.E.M.Safarli headed the department.

From February 10, 2022, on the basis of the election, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, associate professor G.I. Rufullayev was appointed as the head of the department.

From them 3 people are doctors of philology professor, 3 people of philological sciences - associate professors,4 people in philology doctor of philosophy - associate professor, 1 person is a doctor of philosophy in philology - head teacher,3 of them are teachers.

About the head of the department.

Rufullayev Gadim was born in 1973 in the village of Pirasora, Lerik region.He got his first education in the nine-year gymnasium of Neftchala city (1980-1989), and complete secondary education (1989-1991) in Pirasora village, Lerik district completed in high school of the lands of the Motherland in 1992-1996 participated in the battles for the success of freedom. He is a veteran of the Karabakh War. He studied at Salyan Agricultural Technical College in 1996-1998 and studied at the Faculty of Philology of Lankaran State University in 2000-2004. He got a master's degree at Lankaran State University in 2004-2006. He continued his studies at the doctoral course of Lankaran State University in 2006-2009.

In 2014, he completed his doctoral thesis on "Zalimkhan Yagub and folk creativity" at the Institute of Folklore of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and philology got the degree of Doctor of Philosophy. In 2005-2016, he studied "Azerbaijani language and taught on the specialty "literature teaching". He has been working at Lankaran State University since 2015 His "Mirhashim Talishli", "Zalimkhan Yagub and the People"creativity" monographs, "Epic and lyrical type in oral folk literature", teaching aids and two subject programs, published in republican and international scientific journals. He is the author of about thirty scientific articles and theses published in national and international scientific journals. Since 2020, he is a PhD student of Baku State University. In 2020-2021, he worked as the deputy dean for educational affairs at the "Philology and Elementary Education" faculty, and since March 10, 2022, he is the head of the "Azerbaijani language and literature" department.

Prof. Aghazade Yedulla Babir

Doctor of Philology, professor.

He was born on July 1, 1950 in the city of Lankaran. In 1967, he graduated from Lankaran city boarding secondary school (currently gymnasium), in 1975 he graduated from the philology faculty of Azerbaijan State University (currently Baku State University). He started teaching in 1971 and worked as a teacher, head teacher, deputy director for educational affairs and high school director in secondary schools. During the period of his work, his advanced work experience was approved and spread in the region. He has been working at Lankaran State University since 1992. During his tenure at LSU, he worked as a department head, faculty dean, and in 2016-2018, served as vice-rector for research and innovation at Lankaran State University. In 1998 and 2015, he won the "Best Teacher of the Year" competition. In 1998, he defended his candidacy on the topic "Folklore studies activity of Teymur Bey Bayramalibeyov", in 2013 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "Organization and development of satirical poetry in Azerbaijani literature".

In 2016, by the decision of the scientific council of LSU, he was given the title of substitute professor, and from 2019, by the decision of the AAK under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he was given the scientific title of professor in the specialty of Azerbaijani literature.

On November 25, 2022, by order of President Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Lankaran State University, Yedulla Aghazade was awarded the honorary title of Honored Teacher.

Y.B. Aghazade is the author of 1 textbook, 2 teaching aids, 8 methodical instructions, 7 subject programs, more than 100 scientific, literary-critical, journalistic articles, 5 monographs, 3 artistic - journalistic books.

He has been a member of Azerbaijan Writers Union since 2006. He is married, has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.

Kazimov Kamran Shahveran oghlu,

Doctor of philological sciences, professor

He was born on March 8, 1961 in the village of Yukhari Nuvedi of Lankaran district. In 1994, he graduated from the Institute of Russian Language and Literature (now BSU) named after M.F. Akhundov with honor diploma. He is a candidate of philological sciences, associate professor. He defended his doctoral thesis entitled "N.S. Tikhonov and the East" on October 7, 2021, based on the Doctor of Sciences program. He is a specialist on foreign literature. He is the author of 4 monographs, 9 programs, 6 methodical aids, and more than 90 scientific articles. 35 of his articles have been published in foreign journals. His scientific works were published in scientific journals of our republic and in Russia, Poland, America, Czech Republic, Georgia. He gave speeches at international scientific conferences held in Poznan (Poland), Samarkand (Uzbekistan), Kursk State Technical University of Russia, Astrakhan State University, Volgograd State University, Moscow State Pedagogical University (Russia), as well as at the congress on "Language policy of the Commonwealth of Independent States" organized in Minsk (Belarus). He participated in trainings at Lodz, Poland, Essex University, Great Britain, Alexandru Ioan Kuza University, Iasse, Romania. He represented Lankaran State University in the seminar held at TODAIE Institute, Ankara, as part of the delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Abid Hamid oglu of Tahir

Doctor of Philology, professor

He was born on November 30, 1955 in Nohurqishlaq village of Gabala district.

In 1975-1980, he received higher education at the journalism faculty of Azerbaijan State University. He has been a member of the Union of Journalists of Azerbaijan since 1980, and the Union of Writers of Azerbaijan since 1995. In 1982-1987, he worked as a reporter in the newspaper "Voice of the Motherland" published by the Society for Friendship and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries for compatriots abroad. Since 1988, since the establishment of the Society for Cultural Relations with Compatriots Living Abroad - "Vatan" Society, he worked as a reporter, then senior reporter, responsible secretary, and deputy editor in its organ, "Odlar Yurdu" newspaper. In 1992-1993, he worked as the head of the Department of European and American countries of "Vatan" Society. Since 1993, he has been working in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, he is the chief adviser of the department of humanitarian and social problems, the chief adviser of the Civil Service. Mirzayev Elman Savad oghlu

Candidate of Philology, associate professor

Mirzayev Elman Savad was born on March 28, 1979 in Meshakanari, Masalli. He graduated from Meshakanari Village General Secondary School (1994) and Taza Alvadi Village Comprehensive Secondary School No. 1 (1996). In 1996-2000, he studied at the Faculty of Philology of Lankaran State University. In 2000-2007, he was a full-time graduate and postgraduate student of that university. In 2008, he defended his candidate thesis at the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS. In 2009-2016, he worked as a department head at the Jalilabad branch of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and as an associate professor at Tafakkur University. Since 2016, he has been continuing his scientific-pedagogical activity at Lankaran State University. In 2017-2018, he was the chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the university. Since November 2021, he is the dean of the "Philology and primary education" faculty. He is the author of 2 monographs, several subject programs and textbooks, more than 40 scientific articles and theses published in local and foreign (Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan) scientific journals.

Aliyev, son of Alirza Babakishi

Candidate of Philological Sciences, associate professor

He was born in Rudekanar village of Masalli region in 1946. In 1967, he graduated from Lankaran Pedagogical Technical College, in 1975 he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Azerbaijan State University. In 1982, he defended his candidate's thesis on "Slangs in the Azerbaijani language". In 1967-1978, A. Aliyev worked as a teacher in secondary schools, in 1978-1987 as a methodist in the Lankaran district education department, and in 1987-2007 as the deputy head of the Lankaran city education department. At the same time, since 1992, he has been giving lectures on the subject of Modern Azerbaijani language at Lankaran State University. Son of Safarli Elshad Muharram

Candidate of Philological Sciences, associate professor

He was born in 1957 in Garmatuk settlement of Lankaran region. In 1984, he graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Baku State University and from that year he worked as an editor, senior editor, and director of "Literature publication at the author's own expense" in Baku "Maarif" publishing house. In 1996, he was appointed to the position of scientific secretary at Lankaran State University and worked in this position until September 2006. In addition to scientific secretaryship, since 1998, he worked as a senior teacher in the "Language and Literature" department. In 2007, he defended his candidate's thesis on "Sabir Rustamkhanli's individual creative style" and was awarded the scientific degree of candidate of philological sciences. In 2014, by the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission, he was given the academic title of "docent". LSU Rector's order No. 4\39 dated March 1, 2019. Since 1998, he has been a member of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union. Danziyeva Konul Babash

She was born on May 6, 1975 in Chayrud village in Lerik. In 1992-1997, she studied at Lankaran State University in the specialty "Azerbaijani language and literature" and graduated with honors. Since 1997, she worked at Lankaran State University firstly as a laboratory assistant, then as a teacher and a senior lecturer. In 2010, she defended her dissertation on "Lexicon of the wedding ceremony in the Azerbaijani language" at the Nasimi Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Sciences and received the degree of Ph.d. in Philology. In 2019, she was admitted to the scientific doctoral program of Baku State University. She started working on her doctoral dissertation on the theme "Sentence structures in Azerbaijani folklore materials". Currently, she works as a docent in the department "Azerbaijani language and literature". K. B. Danziyeva performed her scientific works at a number of scientific and practical conferences. Seifullayeva Ilaha Avaz gizi

Ilaha Avaz gizi Seyfullayeva (Abdullayeva) was born in 1975 in the city of Lankaran. In 1992, he graduated from Lankaran city secondary school No. 4 with excellent and good grades. In 1993, he was admitted to the Bachelor's degree in the field of Country Studies, Oriental Studies (Arabic Studies) at Lankaran State University, and in 1997 he graduated from that specialty with honors. In 1997, he was admitted to the master's program of LSU, majoring in Linguistics, Minority Languages, and graduated with honors in 1999. Aliyev Mehman Garakhan oghlu

PhD in Philology.

Aliyev Mehman Garakhan oghlu was born on April 30, 1957 in Shiyekaran village of Astara district. After graduating from secondary school, he entered the philology faculty of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University in 1975, and after graduating from there, he started working as a teacher in secondary school in 1979. In different years, he worked as a deputy director for educational advancement in high school, director, referent at Astara University, regional head of the Knowledge Fund under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, scientific secretary at the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS from November 2, 2020 to November 16, 2023. . Currently, he works as a director at the Lankaran Regional Scientific Center of ANAS and a teacher at Lankaran State University. He is regularly engaged in scientific and artistic creativity. He is the author of 4 poems, 1 prose and 3 books of literary-critical analyzes and essays. Huseynova Jeyhuna Huseyn- Associate Professor of Philology

I was born on 31 January in 1980 in Aghstafa. I graduated from East High School Nr35, in Sumgayit in 1987-1997 and graduated from BSU "Faculty of Journalism" in 1997-2001. I completed the master's degree of "Faculty of Philology" of SSU in 2002-2004. I have started to work as a teacher in the "Linguistics" department of the Sumgayit branch of ATI in 2004-2007 and I continued my scientific-pedagogical activity as a senior teacher at the "Azerbaijani language and Turkology" department of SSU. In 2007-2017, I defended my dissertation work on "Linguistic features of anthroponyms and toponyms in Mehdi Huseyn's novels". In 2018, I got the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology. I am an author of 26 scientific articles and theses which published in various international and republican journals. In 2017, I participated in the internship program at "Adnan Menderes University" of Turkey within the framework of the "Movlana exchange program" and gave a lecture there. At the same year in 2016 I was chosen a member of scientific board staff of International Symposium. In 2017-2021, I worked as a director of "Venera" Kindergarten No. 63 in Sumgayit. At the present, I am working as full-time associate professor at the "Azerbaijani language and literature" department of Lankaran State University.

Ibrahimova Leila Tofiq

Ibrahimova Leila Tofiq gizi was born on March 4, 1988 in village Darguba, Lankaran district. She attended a secondary school from 1993 to 2004. In 2004 she entered to the "Teaching of Azerbaijani language and literature" specialty of Lankaran State University, and in 2008 she graduated from the same university with honours diploma. In the same year, she entered the master's degree of LSU, specializing in "Azerbaijani language", and graduated with honours in 2010. She worked in the banking sector in 2011-2016. From 2016 to 2020, she was a laboratory technician, tutor at Lankaran State University, and then head of the "Organization of Education and Additional Education" and "Registration, Evaluation and Monitoring" departments at TTTTM. From October 12, 2020 to October 12, 2022, she worked as a director assistant for educational affairs of the Social and Agrarian-Technological College under LSU. Shabnam Adalat Salayeva, born in Lankaran district in 1990, earned her degree in teaching Azerbaijani language and literature from Lankaran State University between 2009 and 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she served as a dedicated teacher in Goyshaban village secondary school, imparting her knowledge and passion for the subject. In 2014, Shabnam Salayeva was accepted into the master's program at Lankaran State University, specializing in "Methodology of teaching Azerbaijani language and literature." Hasanzade Sevda Amrah's daughter was born in Avrora settlement, Lankaran district in 1999. In 2016, she graduated from Hirkan settlement secondary school named after Agakhan Guliyev. She entered the Baku State University the major of "Azerbaijani Language and Literature" to the faculty of Philology in 2016. She graduated from the same faculty in 2020. Ehedli Khanim Khudaverdi girl was born in 2000 in Goyshaban village of Lankaran district. In 2006, she went to the first grade of Goyshaban village secondary school in Lankaran region, and graduated in 2017. In 2017, she was admitted to the specialty "Museology, archival work and preservation of monuments" of Lankaran State University. In 2021, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in that specialty. In 2021, she started working as an operator-clerk at the Faculty of "Philology and Elementary Education" at Lankaran State University. In 2022, she was admitted to the "Museology" specialization at Lankaran State University, and in February 2023, she works as a 0.5-time laboratory assistant at the "Azerbaijani language and literature" department at Lankaran State University.
