The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine was established by order No. 1/182 of Lankaran State University dated 05.12.2023.

The faculty conducts research in the areas of animal anatomy and zoo-hygiene, veterinary-sanitary expertise, obstetrics, and artificial insemination.

Specialist training is conducted in the following areas at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine:

The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is Associate Professor Zaur Ibrahimkhalil oglu Mammadov.

Deputy Dean of the Faculty: Gurbanzade Gulshan

Gurbanzadeh Gulshan was born on August 4, 1998 in Astara. In 2014, she successfully graduated from 'Astara city secondary school No. 1 and was admitted to Baku State University in the specialty "Soil Science and Agrochemistry". In 2018, she graduated from the bachelor's degree in "Soil Science and Agrochemistry". She was admitted to the master's degree in "Environment and Oil Industry" at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University. In 2020, she graduated from the master's degree with a "distinction" diploma.

From 15.09.2020 to 30.07.2021, she worked as a teacher at Astara Pedagogical College.

On 15.09.2021, she started working as a 0.5-staff teacher at the "Veterinary and Agrarian Sciences" department of Lankaran State University.

On 15.09.2022, she was transferred to the position of a full-time teacher at the “Veterinary and Agrarian Sciences” department of Lankaran State University.

Since February 19, 2024, she has been working as the deputy dean of the “Veterinary” faculty of Lankaran State University.

Axundova Mehriban

Born on January 10, 1966 in Lankaran. In 1976-1983, she graduated from Lankaran City Secondary School No. 6. In 1990-1993, she studied at Lankaran Pedagogical Technical School. In 1989-2008, she worked as a librarian at Lankaran Teacher Training Institute. In 2008-2024, she worked as a librarian at Lankaran State University. Currently working as a clerk at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
