International scientific-practical journal of Lankaran State University "Technical and Agrarian Sciences" Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan by decision of the Scientific Council of Lankaran State University dated April 27, 2022 (Protocol No. 04) and University No. 4/38, 11 established according to the order dated May 2022, the new composition of the editorial board was approved according to the order dated March 14, 2024 No. 4/30.
On January 19, 2023, the journal was assigned ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) - international standard number intended for periodicals: ISSN 2958-8111 and ISSN-L 2958-5058.
Each article published in the journal is assigned a unique digital object identifier (DOI).
The journal is included in the following International scientific databases: ROAD
The journal is published 4 times a year.
Articles are accepted in Azerbaijani, English, Turkish and Russian languages.
The journal has sections on "Technical sciences" and "Agrarian sciences" and a board of directors and reviewers (experts) for each section.
Articles mainly on specialties of food products technology, biotechnology, industrial technology, technology of textile and light industrial materials and products, environmental technology and engineering, chemical technology and engineering, systematic analysis, management and information processing, machines, equipment and processes, production organization and field economy, ecology, etc. are published in the "Technical Sciences" section
Articles mainly on specialties of soil science and agrochemistry, agroengineering, biological resources, breeding and seed breeding, biochemistry and microbiology, fruit growing and viticulture, plant breeding, plant protection, subtropical plants, forestry, veterinary sciences, special zootechnics, production technology of livestock products, etc. are accepted the "Agrarian Sciences" section
PURPOSES AND DUTIES OF THE JOURNAL
"Technical and Agrarian Sciences" International Scientific-Practical Journal founded by Lankaran State University publishes the best scientific ideas that can be applied in industry and agriculture. Because the acquisition of high-quality, competitive products is based on the application of high technologies from various independent fields of scientific research, but is combined with a common final result - a finished high-tech product. These scientific directions include food industry and safety, light industry and textile industry and materials science, general industrial technology, agrotechnology, technologies and materials science of organic substances, systematic analysis, management and information processing, etc. The publication of scientific articles in these directions is the main "vector" of the development of the "Technical and Agrarian Sciences" International Scientific-Practical Journal. Therefore, scientists related to modern production have the opportunity to participate in the transfer of technologies to industry and agriculture by publishing the results of their applied scientific research. Industrial and agricultural experts, in turn, can get scientific and practical information from the journal.
The goal of the journal is to bridge the increasingly time-consuming gap between the rapidly-emerging new scientific knowledge and its practical application. Field institute should be active subscribers of the "Technical and Agrarian Sciences" International Scientific-Practical Journal, and the specialists of those institutes should check the practical value of the scientific and technical ideas recommended for implementation by the journal's scientists-authors.
In order to achieve the specified goal, the main task of the "Technical and Agrarian Sciences" International Scientific-Practical Journal is to form the "scientific component" of the transfer of modern technologies from science to production. Therefore, both scientific innovation and practical value are emphasized in the articles published in the journal
The materials of the research works of scientific and pedagogical staff, scientists, specialists related to modern productions and having the opportunity to participate in the transfer of technologies to industry and agriculture are accepted for publication in the "Technical and Agrarian Sciences" International Scientific-Practical Journal.
